DevOps/Dev Enablement Engineer - Azure API Management/Terraform/£425 Outside IR35 - Milton Keynes twice a month - Initial 3 months - extension likely
My client, a large well know UK brand is looking for a Dev Ops specialist to join their core engineering team - a team dedicated in accelerating development through removing red tape, pooling resources and assisting the business aligned development teams to execute their responsibilities more effectively. They are looking for someone to drive a DevOps culture, manage engineering tools, and foster improvements across the development process through automation, tooling, and best practices.
This role is specifically tasked with the setting up of Azure API Management, using terraform to automate and help with its adoption within the business.
Day Rate: £425 per day Outside IR35
Location: Milton Keyes 1-2 a month (almost fully remote)
Length: 3 months initially - extension likely
Skills & Experience:
Essential:
- 5+ years in automation and workflow systems.
- Expertise with Azure infrastructure especially Azure API Management, APIs, and cloud platforms.
- Experience with Agile development (Scrum/Kanban).
- Skilled in automation, testing, and pipeline management (YAML, Cake, PowerShell).
- Strong understanding of IaC tools (Terraform or Bicep) and GitHub/DevOps workflows.
- Familiar with SonarQube, Snyk, Octopus Deploy, Playwright.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and C# programming.
- Knowledge of network routing, security, and cloud services and VNET.
