Job Description

To grow the Corporate Services Jersey client base, with particular focus on Real Estate, through expanding existing and new intermediary relationships and direct sales activities. Role would include involvement in Business development strategy alongside the Head of Corporate Services in Jersey and execution of that strategy. The role holder will ensure annual new business targets are achieved.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  1. Drive the sales process from origination to completion.
  2. Arrange and attend business meetings with intermediaries and prospective clients, with Client Director attendance as appropriate.
  3. First contact for new business opportunities directed to the department by phone, email or JTC website.
  4. Proposal creation, RFP responses, pitch presentations, and action point follow up.
  5. Manage and build the new business pipeline on Sales Force.
  6. Preparing client presentations and materials.
  7. Prompt follow up on action points from business meetings.
  8. Help identify new business opportunities, including new markets, new clients and new partnerships.
  9. Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.
  10. Build long-term relationships with new customers alongside the client directors and professional intermediaries.
  11. Attending networking opportunities including conferences and industry events.
  12. Build brand and service awareness with intermediaries.
  13. Project work, research using systems and internet to build out our USP and promote awareness of the division.
  14. Adhere to the JTC core values and expected behaviours.
  15. Any other duties as deemed necessary by the division head.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  1. Senior professional with proven track record of sales / lead conversion.
  2. Experience in Real estate requiring Corporate services solutions.
  3. General corporate service and typical structuring experience.
  4. Proven business development experience in financial services sector, working with multinationals, family offices and sovereign wealth (experience with Middle Eastern clients preferred but not essential).
  5. Established network of intermediaries and target client base, particularly real estate.
  6. A relevant professional qualification (ICSA/ACCA) is preferred.
  7. Excellent multitasking skills and ability to prioritise tasks.
  8. Regular UK and potentially international travel will be expected.
  9. Arrange and support corporate events to promote Corporate services in Jersey.
  10. Attendance at and participation in industry events.
