AVP Model Validation - Market Risk, Pricing Models, Stress Testing
  • Location: London
  • Job type: Permanent

My client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced quantitative risk management professional.

  • Location: London
  • Salary: to £150k + benefits
  • Job type: Permanent

Our client is a key player within the UK banking world with a reputation for outstanding employee engagement and development and an incredible track record of growth and success in new markets. The firm has a new requirement for a Director level credit risk modeller with experience of leading teams and major development projects within the wholesale credit space, covering IRB, IFRS9 and stress testing.

This role will oversee teams of more junior modellers to deliver high profile, business critical regulatory modelling projects across a range of portfolios, liaising with senior stakeholders to ensure business needs are met and any issues are escalated and overcome. You will provide technical guidance to the team and ensure all team members have the appropriate support and development needed to deliver effectively.

Candidates should be operating at a VP/Director level currently with significant experience of corporate/wholesale credit model development and/or validation experience gained either within a bank, regulator or consulting firm. Candidates without wholesale models experience will not be considered for this role; a mix of retail, corporate/commercial, and wholesale is of interest.

On offer is an excellent overall reward package, outstanding learning/career prospects and a genuinely flexible working culture. If you are interested in learning more, please apply with your CV, and a short note describing your relevant experience.

We seek individuals from a diverse talent pool and encourage applicants from underrepresented groups to apply to our vacancies. Our commitment to fair recruitment processes means that we welcome applicants from all backgrounds, regardless of their lived experience or personal characteristics. We also invite applicants who meet most of the listed requirements, even if not all, to apply. If you require any adjustments to the application process, please let us know.
