Job Title: Director of Nursing - Primary Care

Salary Band: HCA Grade 9, competitive salary with performance-based incentives
Reporting to: CEO, HCA Primary Care
Reporting Line: Supported by Deputy Nurse Manager, overseeing management of nurses and AHPs, including those in urgent care settings

The Role
- National Leadership: Providing strategic oversight for nursing and allied healthcare professionals across HCA's primary care sites, ensuring consistent, high-quality care delivery.
- Client-Focused Care: Acting as a key point of contact for corporate clients, understanding their specific needs, and tailoring services to exceed expectations.
- Clinical Excellence: Driving continuous improvement in clinical standards, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a culture of safety, learning, and accountability.
- Team Leadership and Development: Inspiring, mentoring, and developing nursing and allied health professional teams across the UK, promoting professional growth and a shared commitment to excellence.
- Operational Oversight: Collaborating with site leads and operational teams to ensure efficient, effective service delivery.
- Commercial Awareness: Partnering with business development teams to support the growth of HCA Primary Care, contributing to bespoke healthcare solutions for corporate clients.
- Innovation and Integration: Leveraging technology, data, and best practices to enhance care delivery, aligning services with HCA Healthcare UK's broader strategy.
- Patient and Client Engagement: Acting as an ambassador for HCA Healthcare UK, building strong relationships with patients, clients, and stakeholders nationwide.
- Senior Management Collaboration: Actively contributing to the senior management team to shape and drive aggressive growth plans for practices, client site offerings, and urgent care centres nationwide.
- Clinical Expertise: Practicing clinically and serving as a role model by wearing your nursing uniform with pride, setting high standards, and exemplifying clinical excellence.
What You'll Bring
- Qualifications: Registered Nurse (NMC registered) with a master's degree or equivalent leadership experience in healthcare.
- Experience: Extensive senior leadership experience in primary care, community health, or corporate healthcare, with proven ability to manage dispersed regional multisite teams.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of the commercial aspects of healthcare delivery, particularly in managing client relationships and contractual obligations.
- Leadership Skills: Inspirational, results-driven leader experienced in managing geographically diverse teams and fostering collaboration.
- Strategic Vision: Forward-thinking with the ability to anticipate and respond to trends in healthcare and corporate wellbeing.
- Operational Expertise: Proficient in managing complex operations with a focus on efficiency, quality, and patient satisfaction.
