The Director of Pricing and Packaging will report to the VP of Product Marketing Management (PMM) and will take on a pivotal role in structuring pricing and packaging for SaaS-based solutions across a multi-product, global landscape. This individual will be responsible for the development and execution of innovative pricing strategies and packaging models that align with the company's growth objectives and market demand and will build off the recent launch of the Diligent One Platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development: Formulate and implement pricing and packaging strategies to drive revenue growth and enhance profitability.
- SaaS and Platform Expertise: Leverage expertise in SaaS-based solutions to develop competitive pricing models tailored to various markets and customer segments.
- System Integration: Ensure pricing strategies are supported by key systems such as NetSuite, Salesforce, and OpenAir.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product management, sales, marketing, services, support, legal and finance teams to align pricing strategies with overall business objectives.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to understand pricing trends, competitive pricing strategy, and customer willingness to pay.
- Sales Enablement: Equip the sales team with effective pricing tools and strategies to improve quote-to-close ratios.
- Analytics: Monitor and analyze pricing effectiveness, adjusting strategies as needed based on data-driven insights.
- Global Considerations: Adapt pricing and packaging strategies to cater to global market nuances, currency variations, and compliance requirements.
- Competitive Intelligence: Stay abreast of competitor pricing moves and market dynamics to ensure competitive positioning.
Required Experience/Skills:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B product marketing with a focus on pricing strategies in a SaaS environment.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective pricing strategies in a multi-product company.
- Proficient with key business systems (NetSuite, Salesforce, OpenAir) to support pricing strategies.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with financial modelling related to pricing.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across different functions and regions.
Preferred Experience/Skills:
- Direct experience with global pricing and packaging at a scale company.
- A strong track record of successful revenue growth through strategic pricing initiatives.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence across the organization.
- Experience in utilizing market research to inform pricing decisions.
- Innovative and creative thinking with a passion for driving commercial success.
FLSA Status: Exempt
U.S pay range: $175,000 - $215,000 USD
