The Director of Product Management for the Third-Party Manager solution is responsible for driving and delivering outstanding products that create incredible value for our customers and users. They are responsible for all aspects of product, from strategy to delivery and ongoing customer retention and user satisfaction for the Diligent Entities solution. This person employs a unique blend of business & technical savvy, strong passion for the customer and users, and the drive to create a vision and turn that into an outstanding product.

They must be a leader with a strong commitment to invest in the development of the individuals on their team. Works closely with Engineering, UX, and Development teams to develop and drive delivery of the product strategy.

The Director of Product Management also supports the development of product marketing strategies as an internal and external evangelist for the product, while also partnering with the direct sales & customer success teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define, lead, and communicate product strategy in support of the business objectives.
  • Build understanding, consensus, and execution alignment with key stakeholders. Develop a strong understanding of stakeholders to drive decisions.
  • Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of the business domain, applying problem-solving skills to address critical and complex issues to ensure the product evolves to make our users successful at their jobs.
  • Ensure ongoing product growth and expansion by gaining and exploiting marketing feedback from customers, prospects, and users.
  • Be the voice of the customer in our product team by clearly communicating and sharing insights about our customers and how we can get their jobs done better.
  • Engage with customers for discovery and validation of new solution capabilities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with UX, Engineering, Product Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams to build and launch products to market.
  • Track product performance, user engagement, and outcomes.

Required Experience/Skills

  • Experience in the third-party risk/risk management domain (desirable)
  • Proven experience in product management, preferably with SaaS experience with a high number of users.
  • Must be able to demonstrate examples of innovation that created outstanding value for users.
  • Proven track record for developing, managing, and launching large-scale cloud-based software products.
  • Ability to conceptualize, negotiate, and sell ideas internally and externally.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong business acumen.
  • You have a data-oriented mindset, and you are passionate about user and performance metrics.
  • You have demonstrated a strong ability to define and measure success.
  • You must have strong leadership and people management skills, with experience in leading and developing high-performing product management teams.
