About the Role:

As a key member of our Design Team, you'll be responsible for creating top-notch technical documentation while working within project timelines and budgets. Your expertise will help deliver high-quality solutions across heavy engineering, chemical, and petrochemical industries.

What We're Looking For:

  • Education: A University Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred. If you're Chartered or working towards Chartered status, that's a big plus!
  • Experience: If you've got experience in Heavy Engineering, Chemical, or Petrochemical Industries, we'd love to hear from you.
  • Skills:
    • Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
    • Ability to turn complex technical information into clear, concise engineering documents.
    • Skilled at interpreting drawings from various engineering disciplines.
    • Familiarity with International Standards and Codes of Practice.
    • Great at coordinating with other disciplines and working as part of a team.
    • Experience with Quality Management Systems.
Software Knowledge:

  • General IT skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in Amtech software is highly desirable.
Your Day-to-Day Tasks:

  • Prepare and review specifications, diagrams, and calculations to ensure they meet required standards.
  • Work closely with other disciplines, clients, and vendors to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Interpret drawings and project information to inform your designs.
  • Keep projects on track by adhering to schedules and budgets.
  • Report to the Lead Electrical Engineer or Department Manager.
  • Ensure all work complies with our Quality Management Systems.
  • Take on other professional duties as needed.
