The Engine Calibration Engineer ensures engine systems perform optimally, meeting both functional and environmental standards through testing, analysis, and calibration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans for engine systems, ensuring performance meets required specifications and standards.
• Analyze engine data and adjust calibrations to optimize performance and efficiency.
• Manage test setups, execution, and troubleshooting to ensure smooth operations.
• Create and refine testing procedures, ensuring alignment with project goals and safety standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical challenges and improve testing efficiency.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of internal combustion engines and related subsystems.
• Experience with engine calibration, particularly for hydrogen engines, is a plus.
• Solid understanding of control strategies, fluid dynamics, and electronics.
• Familiarity with engine testing safety protocols and measurement techniques for temperature, pressure, and flow.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in English and willingness to learn Dutch.
