Engineering Shift Manager

Your new role
As the Engineering Maintenance Shift Manager, you will ensure the smooth operation of all machinery in the designated production area. You will lead and coordinate the activities of Lead Engineers and Multi-skilled Engineers, focusing on health and safety, contractor management, food safety, and quality. Your responsibilities will include planning and managing Preventative Planned Maintenance schedules, overseeing staffing levels, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. You will work on a 4-5-5 shift pattern.
What you'll need to succeed

  • Education: HND/HNC level or equivalent in Engineering.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of engineering experience, with 3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Skills:
    Strong PC skills and excellent communication abilities.
    Analytical and systematic approach.
    Ability to understand basic customer needs and create solutions.
    Patience and persistency in work.
    Ability to establish working relationships and integrate into a team.
    Clear communication of short and long-term objectives.
    Understanding of risks and success factors in your area of responsibility.
    Proactive identification of tasks and ownership of actions.
