Job Description

About the Role

Our client is a leading FMCG manufacturer and are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to join their Strategy and Architecture team, reporting to the Head of Strategy and Architecture. In this role, you will play a crucial part in guiding the organization through its digital transformation journey, focusing on Back Office systems (HR, Finance, Legal, etc.) across a multi-national landscape. You will be responsible for aligning technology solutions with business strategy, optimizing processes, and managing key stakeholder relationships across various regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Drive the development and implementation of the enterprise architecture roadmap, ensuring alignment with business strategies and goals.
  • Back Office Solutions: Design and consolidate architectures for Back Office systems (HR, Finance, Legal) in a fragmented global landscape, focusing on integration across multiple brands.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and market leaders to ensure that business needs are met with innovative and scalable technology solutions.
  • Governance & Innovation: Lead the governance of architectural decisions, ensuring adherence to best practices and evolving trends in enterprise architecture.
  • Portfolio Management: Present gap analyses and recommendations for improving the digital estate, driving improvements through effective architecture frameworks.
  • Digital Transformation: Support the execution of digital strategies across the organization, ensuring technology solutions are implemented to facilitate growth, innovation, and operational efficiency.

Key Skills & Requirements:

  • Experience: 10+ years in architecture roles, preferably with international experience and exposure to multi-national business operations.
  • Technical Expertise: Broad technical experience with SAP and Microsoft platforms, as well as a deep understanding of Back Office systems (HR, Finance, Legal).
  • Architecture Frameworks: Strong familiarity with credible architecture frameworks and methodologies.
  • Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of managing stakeholder relationships across fragmented and diverse business environments.
  • Leadership: A proven ability to lead enterprise-wide transformation initiatives and ensure the successful delivery of strategic business outcomes.
  • Education: Degree in technology or a business-related field (MBA preferred).
