Executive Compensation Specialist - VP, Financial Services/ Asset Management, Permanent, London
£75-120k total comp + Financial Services leading benefits including pension etc
Hybrid - 3 days a week in Office - City

Your new role
As a compensation specialist, you will be partnering with an international remit, supporting heads of functions and C-Suite on compensation within various geographies. This role will be focused on all levels of comp, including executive comp, different bonus, regulated bonus, LTIP etc You will be expected to be a true comp specialist to the business, with this role heavily internal facing, supporting and consulting within BAU and comp rounds.
As well as supporting with comp rounds, you'll be heavily focused on advising the wider people team on comp within the internal and external structures, i.e. advising talent acquisitions on competitive salaries within comparator firms.
What you'll need to succeed
Experience in financial services is essential, with exposure to executive compensation processes.
Experience with HR Systems (Workday, MarketPay, Payfactors) and advanced PowerPoint skills and equally advanced Microsoft Excel (v/x-lookup, index matching, countifs/sumifs) with experience of large data sets.
Stakeholder management skills and experience, they will be looking for you to demonstrate a background of hands on C-Suite guidance and advice
Analytical skills, and the ability to back up data with story telling and consultancy advice
Experience of working at a senior compensation level, i.e. working at VP/Director level within your most recent role
Exposure to the regulatory regimes e.g. IFPR, UCITS/AIFMD.
Knows MRTs/Code staff regimes and has been exposed to those groups
General cash comp reward with experience of benchmarking. McLagan, Willis Towers, Watson etc. All this is supported by strong technical excel abilities.
Some exposure or support for RemCo or senior formal boards/committees, doesn't need to have owned or have been lead
