Job Title: Facilities Assistant

Location: YiewsleyGrange, West Drayton

Salary: £28,495.00 per annum

Hours: 38.5 hours per week, Monday toFriday

Contract: Permanent, 52 Weeks

As part of our continuedgrowth, we now have a fantastic opportunity for a FacilitiesAssistant to join our close-knit team at Hillingdon Manor School,part of Options Autism.

If you are looking tojoin a dedicated team in a school that will welcome your ideas andre-engage our young people, we would like to hear from you. Thesuccessful candidate will support the Facilities Manager in themaintenance and health and safety across our site.

Who are we looking for?

The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to solveproblems independently, have high expectations and standards whowill lead our facilities department, deliver training and ensuringour practice remains outstanding at all times. There will need tobe a high degree of accuracy working in accordance with the healthand safety policies and procedures of the group.

The ideal candidate will enjoy working with students in acalm and engaging demeanour, whilst being resilient andinnovative.

The ability to contribute to thedevelopment of our new school is essential and we believe thatenergy, passion, and a commitment to high standards are keycharacteristics required. We are looking for a special individualwho can help inspire and engage the young people that weserve.

This is an opportunity for the successfulcandidate to develop their skills and experience in a challenging,motivating and highly rewarding environment.

Essential:

  • Full UK driver'slicence

  • PreviousMaintenance experience

At YiewsleyGrange, we provide specialist education for 185 pupils, agedbetween 3.5 to 19 years. Within Yiewsley Grange we deploy a widerange of teaching strategies to engage and develop the progress oflearners, who present with a range of learning difficulties andstyles. Our pupils are taught in smaller class sizes and allstudents work towards an Equals Semi-Formal Curriculum andequivalent qualifications in functional skills.

The site is situated in West Drayton and is commutablefrom Slough, Windsor and surrounding areas. Yiewsley Grange is partof Options Autism.
