We are searching for a Field Support Engineer to join our client in the south of england.My client is at the forefront of research, design and development of next generation UAV systems for the industrial, security & defence sectors.If you're looking for a role in which you will be able to contribute innovative ideas, learn from a dynamic and experienced team, and be challenged on a daily basis, then this is the job for you! Technical Support and Troubleshooting Provide on-site technical support Remote Assistance: Offer troubleshooting assistance to customers Documentation: Maintain detailed records of technical issues System Maintenance and Upgrades Routine Maintenance Software Updates: Install and test firmware and software updates Hardware UpgradesEngineering knowledge and qualifications:Software/Mechanical/Engineering? Linux experience ? Networking experience (e.g. IP, network architectures)? Programming experience, understanding of programming practices (C++ ideally)? Aviation/flight operations experience? Piloting experience? Complex technical resolution
