Finance Manager

Finance Manager (Career progression to FD).

£60,000 + car, bonus & benefits.

Cognisant is working with a highly regarded property company that is looking to recruit a Finance Manager. Reporting into the Finance Director your role will have a hands-on approach to financial management, analysis and reporting and ensure that day-to-day finances and budgets run smoothly. You will manage a small finance team and deputise for the Finance Director in their absence.

This opportunity provides excellent career progression to Finance Director in the medium term.

Key responsibilities include:

• Prepare monthly Management Accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Oversee cost control processes and identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Conduct detailed variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance.
• Manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and report on variances.
• Work closely with senior management and other departments to support overall business objectives.
• Report on build and sales progress providing weekly cashflow forecasts.

You will be a qualified accountant with strong attention to detail. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Industry experience would be advantageous as would a general understanding of COINS.
