Within this Building Services Compliance Manager role, you will be reporting to the UK Head of Maintenance, and be joining a vibrant client side team. You will be working closely with the Maintenance Manager, Helpdesk Manager and external contractors to ensure absolute compliance with building regulations for the 250 stores UK wide.

This FM Compliance Manager role will include:

  • Taking ownership of the building compliance for the portfolio of commercial nationwide stores
  • Ensuring statutory building regulations are adhered to in accordance with the SFG20 to ensure best practice within all assets
  • Site visits (London based) to ensure the quality of works completed via contractors
  • Managing a robust PPM schedule that ensures all buildings meet safety standards
  • Working closely with the Helpdesk manager, Maintenance manager and external contractors
  • Ensuring value for money and quality for all works
  • Working with the CAFM system (Invida) and being responsible for reporting of compliance status

This is a varied FM Compliance Manager role which would suit a building services specialist with vast knowledge of building regulations. Within this FM Compliance Manager role you will be working on a hybrid basis; in the London office, on site visits, or from home.

For this FM Compliance Manager role we are looking for someone with:

  • Extensive experience and knowledge of building regulations and hard services compliance covering both electrical and mechanical services
  • Experience of managing building services compliance for multiple commercial sites, ideally from the retail sector, multi site experience is essential
  • Experience of working with CAFM systems
  • Experience of managing PPM schedules and working with contractors
  • Experience of ensuring deadlines are met to ensure statutory compliance
  • Facilities experience such as helpdesk or PPM planner at an earlier part of your career could be advantageous
  • A strong communicator, who enjoys building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience of retail, or food and beverage retail would be desirable, though not essential if you have the commercial, multi site experience
