General Ledger Accountant

Requested Profile:

• Bachelor or Master degree in Finance/Accounting
• Several years of experience in a GL accounting role
• Excellent excel skills are key
• Good knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS)
• Good communication skills and pro-active attitude

Your role:

• Perform general accounting activities and control, including the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of ledger accounts
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of accounting journal entries
• Manage general accounting and cut-off activities in complex international environment
• Perform month-end analytical reviews of the accounts, explain fluctuations to key stakeholders (cost accounting analysis)
• Maintain, implement, and adhere to internal controls
• Supervise the quality of the files and evaluate working methods
• Coordinate team members activities
• Ensure ownership and timely preparation of the monthly Balance Sheet Review
• Mid-Year and Year-end Audit coordinate with team members
