With a fundraising of 6MЄ and a series A in 2021, present in France, Italy, and Germany, we are targeting new countries for our international growth over the coming years.
To support our next phase of development, we are looking for a General Manager in Germany.
- Define the medium- and long-term strategy and roadmap for the country's development, in line with Otoqi's ambitions, and be fully responsible for the P&L performance of Otoqi's business in Germany.
- Develop, monitor, and revise the business plan for Germany, ensuring it aligns with our international objectives and Otoqi's overarching vision.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to team members to enable their professional growth and development.
- Pursue revenue and margin goals while considering the broader company direction.
- Foster and drive the company's strategy both within Germany and on a global scale.
- Assess and mitigate financial and operational risks, in collaboration with our CFO.
- Occasional travels within Germany to meet clients and prospects and to Italy & France to meet with the international teams and management.
- Champion Otoqi's mission and values, inspiring passion and commitment among team members.
- Build Otoqi brand awareness and desirability in Germany and be Otoqi's senior figure in this key market.
- Ensure compliance of the company and the implementation of preventive actions necessary to comply with the law, regulations in force, and internal rules.
- Lead, support, and develop the sales and development teams.
- Explore new business opportunities and revenue streams to enhance Otoqi's market presence and profitability.
- Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with relevant stakeholders (e.g., logistics, fleet management, mobility sector).
- Cooperate with the product team to roll out new key features and provide feedback on development priorities.
- Ensure the loyalty and satisfaction of the customer portfolio.
- P&L, budget, and cash management responsibility for Otoqi Germany.
- Annual budgets and objectives set in coordination with CEO, CFO, and COO.
- Proven track record of success in a leadership role, with at least 5 years of experience in a B2B context with mid to large accounts.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and business acumen.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Strong flexibility and adaptability to a fast-paced environment.
- Great team leadership and organizational skills.
- Mandatory spoken/written German & English.
- Ability to challenge "the way things are done", drive and implement change.
- Background in a large tech scale-up and/or automotive industry.
- Previous P&L Management experience.
