A GIS Developer is required for a leading Tech start-up client of ours based in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing geographic information systems.
Client Details
Our client is a leading agricultural tech start-up based in London, who are looking for a GIS developer with ESRI experience to join them on a 6 month initial period working remotely.
Description
Your key responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
- Designing and developing GIS applications to meet business needs
- Coordinate with team members to identify and resolve technical issues
- Perform spatial analysis and manage GIS data
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of GIS development tools and programming languages
- Provide technical guidance to GIS users and developers
- Prepare technical specification and documentation for GIS applications
Profile
A Successful candidate will have the following experience and skills:
- A degree in GIS, Computer Science, or a related field
- Commercial experience with the ESRI platform
- A strong background in React and SQL
- Proven experience in GIS development and programming
- Strong knowledge of GIS software and tools
- Ability to troubleshoot complex GIS issues
- Excellent communication and team working skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Job Offer
On offer for a successful GIS developer with ESRI experience is the ability to work fully remotely from the UK earning a competitive day rate outside IR35 for an initial 6 month contract.
