The Role

Our Global Named Account Directors are responsible for managing our most critical partnership relationships on a global basis. We are seeking an experienced sales professional with a minimum of 10 years technology sales and account management experience, particularly within the data movement, connectivity or AI industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales of Stelia's groundbreaking data mobility platform for AI with key named accounts worldwide. This role requires exceptional evangelism skills, deep understanding of the AI industry landscape, and a proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets.

The Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic account management and retention plans around our most significant relationship-based accounts.
  • Forge lifelong relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and relationship building.
  • Conduct in-depth product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value proposition of Stelia's innovative data mobility platform.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, product management, and customer success to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and alignment with company objectives.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to effectively position Stelia's solutions in the market.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals while adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and activity reports to management.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador for Stelia, representing the company with professionalism and integrity at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings.
  • Continuously strive for personal and professional growth through ongoing learning and development initiatives.
  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends and best practices. Propose innovative approaches to market development and business growth.

Essential Attributes

  • Degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive sales and account management experience at director level, with a proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably within the AI or data industry.
  • Excellent evangelism skills with the ability to effectively communicate the value proposition of complex technical solutions.
  • Strong understanding of AI technologies, methodologies, connectivity, and data movement principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with C-level executives and senior decision-makers.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a results-driven mindset and a passion for exceeding sales targets.
  • Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales productivity tools.
  • Willingness to travel worldwide as needed.
