About the role
This is a Maternity Cover FTC for 12 months.
The Global Product Marketing team is dedicated to driving limitless success in the makeup market by shaping the innovation strategy and delivering essential market, consumer, and portfolio insights to Charlotte and the business. With a consumer-focused approach, we partner with the NPD team to co-create tomorrow's viral sensations and market bestsellers, turning Charlotte's creative product vision into clear, consumer-centric messages and stories. As the custodians of the message, we work closely with the global marketing campaigns team to ensure consistency across all touchpoints.
The Global Product Marketing Manager will work across makeup projects, with a focus on colour/lips. They will fuel the strategy of the category and some of Charlotte Tilbury's hero franchises, enabling the creation of ground-breaking new global product innovation for the brand and beyond.
As a Global Product Marketing Manager you will:
- The expert on (Lips) Makeup market data, insights & trends: Identify gaps and opportunities and influence innovation and calendar strategies, driving Category, Franchise and Brand growth.
- Optimize the portfolio navigation: Ensure our products are easy to choose and shop both online and in-store, through clear messaging and flawless execution.
- Product Concepts & Innovation: Working closely with the NPD Team and harnessing market data & consumer insights, conceptualise award-winning makeup innovations.
- Core Portfolio: Support the category's launch and core repush strategy.
- Drive a consumer-centric and competitive messaging strategy: Develop USPs, claims, and messaging hierarchy for our products & franchises.
- Consumer Facing Copy: Support the Copy team to create Pack copy, Names, and permanent VM copy.
- Product Planning: Collaborate with the Portfolio and NPD teams to recommend pricing strategy and product lifecycle.
- Toolkits & Presentations: Craft best-in-class product marketing toolkits to inspire the business and inform regional forecasting.
- Develop Strong Stakeholder Relationships: Establish and build excellent relationships with cross-functional groups.
Who you will work with:
- Sits in the Global Product Team with a dotted line to the Global Brand Marketing Team.
- The role will work closely with Global NPD, Global Campaigns Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Copy, Portfolio, Insights, and Regional Marketing teams.
About you:
- Experience in Beauty required (ideally Makeup).
- Extensive and proven experience in Global Marketing (3+ years).
- Experience within a founder-led business or a top beauty brand is a plus.
- Passionate storyteller who can bring ideas to life with confidence.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional knowledge of beauty/fashion trends and social media.
- Insight driven decision making.
- Entrepreneurial mindset: resilient, tenacious, confident self-starter.
- Impeccable organisational skills.
- Team player with the ability to build strong relationships.
