About the role
As our Group Financial Controller, you'll be a key player within both our Corporate Finance Team and the Global Finance Leadership Team. Here's a bit about what you'll do:
- Take charge of managing and coordinating all our financial and management reporting. This includes everything from statutory accounts to our yearly reports.
- Ensure our Group Reporting systems are top-notch and maintain their integrity.
- Be a key part of rolling out our ERP systems and setting up business reporting frameworks.
- Support S G & A Budget Holders with the financial information and guidance they need.
- Oversee the annual audit process and be the go-to person for our External Auditors.
- Lead the way on implementing changes to regulatory reporting and accounting standards.
- Manage and mentor a team of talented accountants and business analysts.
- Keep our Group Finance Policy & Procedures up to date.
- Work closely with Regional Finance teams, offering technical support and reviewing their budgets and forecasts.
Our offices are in London, Teddington (London), Bath, Bristol and Fareham. We support both hybrid and flexible working. The team meet in Teddington two to three times a week. Travel to our other offices will be required.
About you
We are looking for a senior finance professional with:
- A qualification in accounting and over 10 years of experience in senior finance roles
- Extensive experience managing Group Financial Accounts and Reporting Systems in a global business
- Proven audit experience, both in practice and managing Group Audits
- Strong financial systems skills, including ERP and FP&A
- Technical accounting knowledge and experience
- Strong financial controls and governance expertise
- An analytical mindset with the ability to understand business drivers
- Proven leadership skills with experience in leading and developing professional teams
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build successful working relationships
- Confidence in decision-making and contributing to key business decisions
