Job Description

HE Space is a successful international space company. For 40 years, we have been supporting our customers with qualified experts in the field of engineering, science and administration. HE Space has joined forces with CS Group to lead the engineering and digital space market in Europe and to provide highly skilled consulting.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

CS Group Germany GmbH is looking for a Head of Accounting & Controlling, reporting directly to the CFO of the Space Business Unit and working closely with the local Director of Operations. You will strengthen and develop the Finance team in Germany, providing a strong core to our next stage of development.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Management of controlling and financial accounting;
  • Responsible for the monthly reporting and the annual financial audited accounts;
  • Close cooperation with Managers and other stakeholders;
  • Further development of reporting and control processes;
  • Management of the Financial Accounting teams.
Skills & Experience

You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience:

  • Bachelor's in Accounting or Controlling;
  • At least 3-5 years' related experience preferably in a large, multinational environment and bring experience in working with corporate reporting tools;
  • Strong communication, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills;
  • Team player and have a proactive mentality;
  • Fluency in German and English; written, oral and presentation skills;
  • Interpersonal and leadership skills, which allow you to interact and develop strong professional relationships.
