The Alliance for Living Evidence (Alive)
Launched in 2023, Alive represents a breakthrough in evidence-based decision making via Living Evidence . Unlike traditional static reviews, our living evidence model:
- Continuously updates systematic reviews to reflect the latest scientific knowledge
- Creates dynamic partnerships between evidence producers and decision-makers
- Delivers real-time, trustworthy data that responds to decision-makers' needs
- Maintains constantly updated datasets and evidence syntheses
Your Impact
As Head of Climate Evidence Partnerships, you'll lead climate health partnerships. These will address diverse priorities, including those of city networks across low-resource settings, international research collaborations, and multinational UN agencies, to name just a few.
- Building and nurturing a powerful community of evidence users across
- Driving partnership growth and collaboration across continents
- Ensuring evidence reaches decision-makers in formats that are accurate, useful, and actionable
- Managing high-impact partnerships that bridge the gap between evidence and implementation
Geographic Focus
Primary focus on Africa, Asia, and Latin America/Caribbean regions
- Collaboration with global climate organisations headquartered in EMEA and United Kingdom
- Emphasis on building networks in underserved settings
- Remote work with international travel required
You Bring
- Deep knowledge of, extensive networks in, and a strong reputation throughout the global climate communities, in particular climate and health
- Extensive networks within evidence synthesis and use communities
- Extensive research experience, including supporting the use of research evidence in decision-making
- Bachelor's degree in a environmental focused field
- An advanced degree (masters, PhD or similar) related to the production and/or use of evidence (e.g. public health, public policy, epidemiology, statistics) is strongly preferred
- Excellence in communication and relationship building across cultures and organisational levels
- Fluency in English required, additional languages valuable
