We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Clinical Projects to join our Clinical Operations Team here at The London Clinic, based in Marylebone, London (W1G 6JA).

We are offering a competitive inclusive salary range of up to £75,000 per annum dependent on experience.

Job Profile

As Head of Clinical Projects, you will be responsible for setting up, coordinating, leading and delivering a number of key projects across the hospital. This will involve the delivery of a diverse range of clinical projects across our services. You will be expected to engage with stakeholders, manage detailed project plans and deliver clear, insightful reporting.

It will be key for you to maintain strong relationships with teams and contractors working cohesively with the Programme Manager for new projects.

You should possess the ability to evaluate, establish and communicate project scope, schedule and budget and hold yourself and the project teams accountable for meeting their objectives. The role will also involve:

  • Produce detailed business cases to support the implementation of a project.
  • Set objectives for each stage of the project and ensure timely delivery at each stage.
  • Manage resources effectively, to ensure there is no duplication of work.
  • Plan and design the project plans for each project, proactively managing progress and taking corrective action, as appropriate.
  • Identify issues as they arise and develop/implement plans to rectify.
  • Develop and maintain clinical plan timelines, communicating progress to the Executive sponsor.
  • Foster a focused environment, documenting key decisions, actions and changes.
  • Collaborate effectively at all levels and support delivery utilising key skills across the teams.
  • Encourage strategic thinking and innovative approaches.
  • Providing constructive feedback.
  • Monitor, track and report on progress and performance.
  • Maintain a clear vision and overall direction of each project.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience of managing multiple new and complex clinical projects simultaneously.
  • Experience managing budgets.
  • Good understanding of health and safety.
  • Strong organisational, interpersonal and time management skills.
  • Strong planning, analysis, problem solving and team working skills.
