  • Oversee the design and technical aspects of parking infrastructure, cycle route design, bus priority projects, and other transport-related schemes.
  • Ensure all traffic orders are processed to a high standard, maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and managing the end-to-end process effectively.
  • Provide oversight for staff seconded to local councils, ensuring consistent project management and integration into council-led transport initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders to ensure project alignment with community, environmental, and regulatory goals.
  • Manage project delivery from inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, offering technical leadership and expert advice on design and engineering matters.
  • Support the business development team by contributing to bids, securing new work, and building strong relationships with clients and partners.
  • Review and approve design documents, technical drawings, and project reports, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and client expectations.
  • Drive continuous improvement in design and operational processes to enhance efficiency, innovation, and sustainability across all projects.
