Job Description

  • Leading the organisation's digital and engagement strategy, working with other departments including fundraising and communications.
  • Creating a digital engagement and mobilisation strategy.
  • Managing all digital channels: website, organic and paid social media, and monitoring regular communications over email with supporters.
  • Monitoring performance against the charity's objectives.
  • Developing and implementing a highly engaged supporter mobilisation program in close collaboration with colleagues in Communications, Campaigns, Media, and Advocacy to optimise the organisation's impact in alignment with the organization's theory of change across attitudinal change and policy change campaigns (especially the mass mobilisation moments) via digital channels, utilising insights, trends, and strategic advice on where to focus efforts to maximise impact towards goals and allocate expenditure most efficiently.
  • Monitoring digital fundraising campaigns across organic and paid platforms.
  • Overseeing the productivity of the organisation's digital content through articles, blog posts, videos, infographics, social media posts, and podcasts.
  • Helping to deliver growth in the organisation's engagement with new target audiences.
  • Managing the budget.
  • Working closely with the insight analyst and data manager to help monitor performance across the digital mobilization channel and activities.

The Successful Applicant

  • Experience in line managing a digital team.
  • Experience in creating digital strategies to support public fundraising.
  • Familiarity with the concepts and theories underlying digital participation, advocacy, and fundraising.
  • Experience in developing impactful digital activations utilizing email, social media, and landing pages.
  • Knowledge in CMS, including platforms like Engaging Networks, WordPress, and Google Analytics.
  • Experience in data literacy.
  • Knowledge in data and metrics, with the ability to turn them into reports and actionable insights.
  • Experience in budget management and financial planning.
  • Stakeholder management experience.
  • Knowledge in digital engagement, campaigning, and fundraising.
