About the Role

Our Commercial team is expanding and we're looking to hire an industry leader to join our Client Solutions team who has a great understanding, passion, and experience of working within the Fashion & Beauty sector.

Working as an integral team member within the dynamic LADbible Group's Client Solutions (Sales) team, this role is focused on driving revenue growth within the Fashion & Beauty sector, ensuring retention and long-term partnerships as well as developing new relationships to drive incremental growth to the business. It will be vital to develop and maintain strong business relationships; those relationships will be with both the agency and clients directly.

What the opportunity looks like

  • As a specialist leader within the LADbible commercial division, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, ideation and overall output of all key format and commercial opportunities relevant to the category.
  • Craft market-leading proposals that are integrated, smart and perfectly fit the client or agency brief. These proposals are likely to be full funnel, so your knowledge of both Brand and DR activity is critical.
  • As a senior lead, you will be expected to be skilled in planning & storytelling, with the ability to solve problems for key partners.
  • This role will require you to be the lead specialist in this category within the 360 commercial department & the linchpin to connect the wider internal teams- Data Intelligence and Planning, Social and Web editorial teams as well as Marketing and Communications - to create and deliver pitches to our clients
  • Build & maintain a strong working relationship with all key editorial stakeholders working across our Female-led brands.
  • Own & maintain the internal key calendar, for relevant cultural moments for both commercial and editorial teams
  • Utilise these relationships to tap into channel and editorial insight, mobilising these to be used for the commercial benefit of Fashion & Beauty sector clients, as well as for the general knowledge of all departments.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Fashion & Beauty sector as well as their commercial and marketing activity - should include broadcasters, traditional publishers, social publishers, and governing bodies.
  • Own & maintain relationships with key senior direct clients, endemic & non-endemic to the sector.
  • Deliver consistent and regular industry updates across the Fashion & Beauty landscape.
  • Keep up to date with all platform updates, thinking about how new tools etc. could be best utilised for clients in the category e.g. Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok & X.

Skills and experience we'd like you to have

  • Experience across marketing, commercial partnerships, sponsorship, consumer or creator campaigns.
  • Previous experience working across commercial products and partnerships - either from a selling perspective or an implementation perspective
  • A thorough knowledge of the UK & US Fashion & Beauty landscape as well as an understanding of the broader global retail industry.
  • Existing relationships from within the UK Fashion & Beauty industry.
  • A track record of selling in concepts, ideas or packages (including proven relationships) and clients in the Fashion & Beauty industry,
  • Ability to create a fast impact & be excited by a culture that moves at speed.
  • Be a progressive thinker, with expertise in social.
  • Experience in leading brand & product launches to the industry.
  • Experience in leading at key industry events & networking opportunities.
  • Understand the world of digital and use of social channels e.g. Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, YouTube, X
  • Thrive in a fast-moving digital and social space with complex products.
