Cognisant is working with an exciting property developer who is looking to recruit a hands-on finance leader to improve controls, processes, and procedures. You will implement strong governance and support the operational leadership team in achieving the growth plans.

In addition to ensuring that accurate and timely financial information is available, you will also operate as a business partner taking an active role in strategic development and commercial decision making.

Responsibilities include

• Review the business plan, budget, project management of developments highlighting any key risks.
• Deal with banking and investors, review terms and initiate drawdowns.
• Establish a highly skilled, highly motivated team who consistently exceed performance expectations.
• Implement financial reporting systems that comply with government regulations and legislation.
• Manage cash flow, tracking transactions and regularly reviewing internal reports.
• Introduce and lead the management of HR, payroll, pension and other key benefits.

You will be a qualified accountant with the ability to drive and challenge the business to achieve its growth plans. You will be an integral member of the leadership team and be able to take a hands-on approach in addition to a strategic role.
