Responsibilities

  1. Ensure strong Financial Management: oversee all financial aspects of the organization, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and analysis.
  2. Prepare and review all monthly and annual financial statements.
  3. Have ultimate responsibility for accurate accounting records and provide financial reports for the Hotel.
  4. Manage the relevant elements of our owner relationship.
  5. Lead all elements related to balance sheets, P&L, cash management, capital, amongst others.
  6. Deliver high quality management information and performance measurement that is accurate and relevant.
  7. Optimise and develop Systems to improve efficiency and information.
  8. Pro-actively support the General Manager and lead the finance team in Hotel strategic planning, focussing on value opportunities.
  9. Lead, develop and inspire a high-quality Finance Team.
  10. Insure the respect of rule and other internal Oetker Collection policies.
  11. Implement an internal control policy and audit processes.
  12. Identify financial risks and opportunities and develop strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
  13. Develop and implement short and long-term financial plans in alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  14. Direct and manage the purchasing department, optimizing procurement processes to ensure cost-efficiency and quality standards are met.
  15. Introduce projects and areas of improvement in line with Oetker Collection requirements.
  16. Attend to Executive Meetings.
  17. Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, laws, and company policies.
  18. Communicate financial performance, forecasts, and strategies effectively to senior management, stakeholders, and investors.
  19. Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Minimum Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  2. Valuable experience in accounting positions (5 years) acquired in hotels or ideally in an international structure.
  3. Perfect level of English.
  4. Technical skill, with a strong understanding of compliance requirements, best practice hotel operations, finance function set up and standard systems.
  5. Strong financial acumen and analytical skills, with a demonstrated ability to interpret financial data and make strategic recommendations.
  6. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly and concisely.
