Head of Finance (Financial Improvement & Commercial)
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and high performing organisation. The role of Head ofFinance (Financial Improvement & Commercial) will provide financial leadership to the sustainabilityand recovery components of the Trust's financial strategy.
Main duties of the jobKey responsibilities include:o Taking responsibility for overseeing the implementation of the Trust's efficiency plan and theprovision of regular progress reports, internally and externally.o To collaborate closely with the Director of Operations to support the management teams inthe operational delivery of the efficiency programmeo To ensure that robust governance arrangements are in place to enable progress tracking andearly intervention where schemes are at risk of slipping.o The postholder will also have a key role to play in terms of longer-term sustainability andfinancial input to the development of medium-term financial strategy.o The post holder will be expected to deputise for the Assistant Director Financial Managementas required.
About usWe are seeking a professionally qualified accountant who has gained experience from within the NHSor wider public sector. It will be advantageous to have experience of supporting or leading on CIPprogrammes of work and have a breadth of experiences to draw upon. Importantly, we are seekingan individual who has the confidence to lead and take the initiative on the responsibilities above.

Person Specification Qualifications- CCAB Qualified
