Head of Group Reporting

HW Finance are delighted to be partnering with a Leading UK Brand to help appoint a new Head of Group Reporting.

The role will be responsible for the lead on External Reporting, Technical Accounting &Treasury activities for the group.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing the monthly Group consolidated management accounts - income statement, balance sheet and cashflow for use by the Board.
• Being a key contact into the Private Equity sponsor team and the Group's external lenders.
• Production of Quarterly lender reporting including financial statements and narrative.
• Leading the preparation of the Group's Annual Report and Financial Statements (Plc standard) in compliance with IFRS, including co-ordinating of content and drafting of strategic report. Production of the statutory accounts of subsidiary entities.
• Manage and lead the relationship with external auditors.
• Technical accounting - lead the Group's continued activities on the application of IFRS16 Leases, IFRS Share based payments and other technical accounting matters.
• Drafting Audit Committee papers on accounting and financial reporting matters.
• Budget and five-year plan involvement including cash, interest, depreciation and IFRS 16
• Leading the Treasury activities of the Group, including developing risk management policies and managing ongoing compliance
• Optimisation of the Group's cash position
• Cash flow and working capital forecasts to aid decision making and capital allocation decisions

Ideal Candidate:

• The ideal candidate will be ACA Qualified (preferably Big 4 Trained) with significant post-qualification experience.
• My client would consider either someone straight out of Practice or with industry experience.
• Group accounts, consolidations / Strong Technical accounting & application of IFRS / large company reporting (PLC or Private Equity) is essential.
