Job Description

At Stanchester Academy we aim to provide a rich and varied education for all of our students.

Actual Salary : Qualified Teacher Pay Scale + TLR2B (£5,347 per annum) Contractual hours: 32.43 per week.

We are looking for an outstanding classroom teacher with the ability to lead History and RE. You need to be able to teach KS3 and KS4 in either or both of these subjects. This will be a fantastic opportunity to be a part of a strong and highly successful department. The candidate will need strong subject knowledge in one of these subjects and have the ability to lead a strong team with good results.

Experience teaching GCSE History or RE is essential as you will need to have the ability to inspire and develop both staff and students in order to raise standards and maximise potential in this area. You will need to be either an outstanding classroom practitioner already, with a commitment to continuous professional development.

You need to have the ability to inspire and develop both staff and students in order to raise standards and maximise potential. You will lead a strong team of teachers within our innovative curriculum.
