Head of Investment Data

Head of Investment Data & Research - London Hybrid 3 days a week in office

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the development of a comprehensive research studio environment that supports self-service analytics and model building.
2. Democratize analytics and model development into a self-service function, enabling investment teams to independently create and deploy their own models.
3. Work closely with the Head of Investment Data Platform to ensure the analytics infrastructure supports efficient data processing and advanced analytics capabilities.
4. Build and lead a high-performing team of data scientists, analysts, and researchers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
5. Collaborate with senior leadership across the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging analytics to drive business growth and operational efficiency.

What you'll need to succeed:

1. Experienced, capable, and thoughtful leader with significant experience in building, leading, developing, and motivating teams.
2. Data technical expert, ideally in investment data or a related field in Financial Services or a related industry.
3. Higher order strategic thinking with the capability to turn ideas into action - in this role you will be responsible for forming, articulating, and executing a plan with support from dedicated product and engineering teams.
4. Vision and ambition - reporting to the Head of Insights you will be instrumental in transforming our investment teams' analytics culture through delivering cutting-edge capabilities, new technology platforms, and innovative ways of working.
