We are looking for an applicant for a permanent position to support our team in Berlin as soon as possible as a

Head of IT (m/f/d) Your responsibilities

Diverse & exciting

• Further developing and implementing our IT strategy as part of a certified ISMS
• Ensuring the availability, integrity and confidentiality of our infrastructure
• Technical and disciplinary leadership of a five-person IT team in Berlin
• Supervising and further developing the IT landscapes at all locations of the DILAX group in cooperation with internal departments, customers and external partners
• Optimizing IT processes and all relevant IT contracts
• Planning, budgeting and implementing ambitious IT projects
• Supervising and further developing DILAX' in-house hosting infrastructure
• Supporting our employees with IT questions including on-call service

that you bring along

• University degree in computer sciences, business informatics or a comparable field of study or alternatively a job-related training with further qualification measures
• At least 5 years of professional experience in the IT environment. First leadership experience is an advantage
• Broad practical know-how, ideally in the following areas:
  • Microsoft server and client technologies such as Windows Server, MSSQL, Active Directory, Exchange, Navision and CRM
  • Cloud and virtualization environments such as AWS, Nutanix AHV (HCI) and Hyper-V
  • Management of RPO/RTO with Veeam Backup & Replication
  • Open Source technologies like PostgreSQL and Tomcat as well as the administration of LINUX operating systems (preferably CentOS / Red Hat)
  • Operation of large Docker/Kubernetes environments
  • Management of Sophos firewall solutions and M2M networks- Infrastructure monitoring with Zabbix
  • Help desk administration via Jira and Confluence
• A team player who brings a lot of motivational skills and enthusiasm, service and solution orientation as well as a high level of quality awareness to the table and masters the balancing act between manager and doer
• Good communications skills for interdisciplinary cooperation and coordination as well as very good knowledge of German and English
