Your profile
  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. An advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred.
  • Extensive experience in a senior operational role, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proven track record of successful leadership and management of teams in multiple locations.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects.
  • Deep understanding of operational excellence principles and methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Experience in implementing and managing continuous improvement processes and systems.
  • Experience with reviewing and optimizing reporting and control systems.
  • Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification preferred
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities (with the ability to leverage data to make informed decisions)
  • Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Availability and willingness to undertake international travel as required to support company operations and project implementation.

Your mission
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Operational Excellence strategy in alignment with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Design and execute strategies to implement and develop processes and systems for operational excellence across all sites.
  • Ensure alignment with global standards and best practices in the pharmaceutical manufacturing, filling, and packaging sectors.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Operational Excellence professionals (in the sites) to build capability across the organization and foster a culture of operational excellence.
  • Implement lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Identify areas for further improvement and drive initiatives / collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and sustainable change.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and ensure the achievement of operational excellence objectives.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure adherence to best practices and identify further areas for improvement.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure the company's operational excellence efforts are robust and competitive.
