Job Description
Currently recruiting on behalf of a rapidly growing FinTech. As the Enterprise & Operational Risk Director, you will be a pivotal leader within the Risk Management team, responsible for developing and upholding a comprehensive enterprise and operational risk framework.
This includes defining the risk appetite framework, RCSA (Risk and Control Self-Assessment), and creating scenarios for ICAAP (Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process) and recovery planning. This role offers an opportunity to shape best practices in risk management while contributing to the organization's continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and enhance Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Operational Risk Management (ORM) policies and frameworks.
- Establish mechanisms for effective recording of risk assessments, registers, and incidents.
- Lead the quantification of risk scenarios impacting capital and potential losses for ICAAP and recovery plans.
- Ensure the escalation of critical risk issues, operational incidents, appetite breaches, and emerging risks to senior leadership and board committees.
- Partner with various departments to facilitate comprehensive business risk self-assessments and specific operational risk assessment initiatives.
- Analyse and identify trends in key risk indicators to inform decision-making within Risk Management.
- Monitor compliance with risk frameworks, developing tools and communicating requirements to ensure alignment with policies, procedures, and best practices.
