Job Description

Responsibilities
  1. Lead the Physics department, providing strong leadership and guidance to colleagues to ensure outstanding teaching and learning experiences.

  3. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters students' curiosity and passion for Physics.

  6. Communicate regularly with parents, providing updates on student progress and addressing any concerns.
  7. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Physics education and implement innovative teaching methodologies.
  8. Participate in departmental and whole-school meetings, actively contributing to the strategic planning and continuous improvement of the school.
Minimum Requirements
  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Physics or a related field; a postgraduate degree is highly desirable.
  2. Proven experience teaching Physics at the secondary level, with a track record of achieving excellent results.
  3. Demonstrated leadership abilities, with previous experience in a leadership role within an educational setting.
  4. Thorough knowledge of the national curriculum and examination requirements.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  6. Effective organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
