Your new role

As the Head of Project and Programme Delivery you have the exciting opportunity to oversee the delivery of a portfolio of transformational business change projects and programmes which are critical to the ongoing development of professional services.

As a critical part of the newly formed COO's Transformation Team you will be responsible for establishing the organisational project and programme delivery approach including managing the processes to establish business cases, plan resources and successful delivery of the portfolio.

As a senior leader you will manage and collaborate with colleagues to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of professional services ensuring we deliver on our vision of delivering outstanding education and world class research.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Extensive experience leading the delivery of a portfolio of large and complex transformational business change projects and programmes from end to end
  • Extensive experience leading and managing prioritisation of projects proposals including defining scope, costs, resources, business requirements and benefits.
  • Extensive experience in proactively managing risks, issues and interdependencies across all transformation projects and programmes ensuring successful delivery
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively whilst overseeing processes and procedures for planning and integrating business change whilst working loosely with stakeholders within and beyond the organisation
  • Experience of leading high performing multi-disciplinary digital teams through change and transformation initiatives.
