Job Description

  • Lead and supervise the risk team to ensure the effective management of risk across the company.
  • Develop and maintain risk management policies in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and report findings to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Create and implement effective strategies to mitigate identified risks.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure risk management principles are understood and applied.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and regulations to ensure the company's compliance.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on risk management procedures.
  • Manage and oversee insurance programmes for the company.

The Successful Applicant

  • A successful 'Head of Risk' should have:
  • A qualified lawyer in England and Wales
  • A strong background in risk management within the legal industry.
  • A degree in Law, Business, Finance or a related field.
  • Adept at leading teams and managing complex projects.
  • Excellent knowledge of risk assessment methods and frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
