Job Description
- Lead and supervise the risk team to ensure the effective management of risk across the company.
- Develop and maintain risk management policies in line with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and report findings to senior management and stakeholders.
- Create and implement effective strategies to mitigate identified risks.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure risk management principles are understood and applied.
- Keep up to date with industry trends and regulations to ensure the company's compliance.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on risk management procedures.
- Manage and oversee insurance programmes for the company.
The Successful Applicant
- A successful 'Head of Risk' should have:
- A qualified lawyer in England and Wales
- A strong background in risk management within the legal industry.
- A degree in Law, Business, Finance or a related field.
- Adept at leading teams and managing complex projects.
- Excellent knowledge of risk assessment methods and frameworks.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
