Job Description

1. Lead and supervise the risk team to ensure the effective management of risk across the company.
2. Develop and maintain risk management policies in line with regulatory requirements.
3. Conduct regular risk assessments and report findings to senior management and stakeholders.
4. Create and implement effective strategies to mitigate identified risks.
5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure risk management principles are understood and applied.
6. Keep up to date with industry trends and regulations to ensure the company's compliance.
7. Provide training and guidance to staff on risk management procedures.
8. Manage and oversee insurance programmes for the company.

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Head of Risk' should have:

1. A qualified lawyer in England and Wales.
2. A strong background in risk management within the legal industry.
3. A degree in Law, Business, Finance or a related field.
4. Adept at leading teams and managing complex projects.
5. Excellent knowledge of risk assessment methods and frameworks.
6. Strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
