Your Next Challenge Moneycorp is seeking an accomplished and strategic Head of Consumer & Retail Sector Sales to lead our growth, enhance client engagement, and strengthen our market positioning across Foreign Exchange treasury solutions. This leadership role will focus on advancing sales execution and building impactful relationships with our clients. As a player-coach, you will lead and mentor a high-performing sales team, fostering their development and elevating their impact. By taking ownership of sector strategy, you'll provide valuable market insights and collaborate closely across teams to strengthen Moneycorp's reach and relevance. Role Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Sector Leadership
    • Develop, implement, and own a sector-specific growth strategy, aligned with broader business objectives.
    • Conduct in-depth market and competitor analysis to identify emerging opportunities and strategic trends.
    • Drive alignment across cross-functional teams to ensure the sector strategy is integrated with the company's goals.
  • New Business Generation & Relationship Building
    • Proactively drive new business acquisition through targeted prospecting and relationship-building.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key industry stakeholders and potential partners.
    • Leverage sector knowledge to tailor solutions and maximize cross-selling opportunities.
  • Team Leadership & Development
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of sales professionals, promoting a high-performance culture.
    • Coach the team on consultative selling techniques to understand client needs effectively.
    • Encourage a data-driven approach to sales and teach team members to leverage analytics.
    • Set clear performance expectations and provide regular coaching and feedback.
    • Foster an inclusive, results-oriented environment where team members are empowered.
  • Thought Leadership
    • Establish and promote Moneycorp as a trusted leader within the sector by building market presence.
    • Represent Moneycorp at key industry events and webinars.
    • Develop and share sector-specific content and insights to deepen client relationships.
  • Sales Execution & Pipeline Management
    • Champion sales excellence by implementing best practices in pipeline management.
    • Own the end-to-end sales process for the sector.
    • Actively manage and coach the sales team's pipeline.
    • Drive and oversee the sales cycle to secure new deals and maximize revenue.
    • Work collaboratively with marketing, product, and operations teams.
  • Risk and Credit Management
    • Own all risk and credit limit discussions to ensure sector-level deals align with company risk parameters.
    • Assess and mitigate potential risks in client engagements.
    • Engage with credit, legal, and compliance teams to balance growth opportunities with risk management.
Experience & Qualifications:
  • Proven senior-level experience (8-10 years minimum) in sales leadership within Foreign Exchange, Payments, or Financial Services.
  • Expertise working with clients in the Head of Consumer & Retail Sector.
  • Advanced understanding of foreign exchange and treasury solutions.
  • Strong background in navigating complex sales cycles within global markets.
  • Strong knowledge of credit and risk management practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic growth initiatives.
  • Experience in building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to foster and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders.
