Job Description
We are seeking an exceptional Head of Security Architecture to join a FTSE 100 global organisation. This role is perfect for a senior professional with a strong background in complex, large-scale environments who thrives in leading and developing high-performing teams. As the Head of Security Architecture, you will shape the strategic direction of security architecture, ensuring alignment with the organisation's global cybersecurity strategy while managing a team of talented senior security architects and engineers. Responsibilities:
- Provide visionary leadership and direction to a team of senior security professionals, driving best practices across architecture and solutions.
- Develop and implement the security architecture strategy in line with business and technology goals, ensuring resilience and scalability across a global organisation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders across the business to align security initiatives with the overall technology and business strategy.
- Drive the adoption of emerging security technologies and methodologies to support the organisation's transformation agenda.
- Manage architectural risks and influence the business to adopt security solutions that are both innovative and aligned with best practices.
- Extensive experience operating at a senior level within large, complex environments, ideally within FTSE 100 / FTSE 250 or similar global enterprises.
- Proven track record of leading, growing, and developing high-performing security architecture and engineering teams.
- Deep expertise in information security, cyber-risk management, and implementing security strategies within diverse technology landscapes.
- Strong background in cloud security, network security, and application security, with a focus on driving large-scale transformation initiatives.
- Adept at engaging with senior leadership, demonstrating commercial acumen and the ability to influence strategic decisions.
- Relevant certifications such as SABSA Chartered Foundation (SCF), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or equivalent.
