In this role, you will lead and optimize our end-to-end supply chain operations across the EMEA region. You will be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire supply chain process, including supply chain planning, sales and operations planning, procurement and subcontractors, logistics, and warehousing, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and operational excellence.
As a strategic leader, you will collaborate closely with the Harnessing Operations plants and with cross-functional teams to drive supply chain for new projects introduction, customer satisfaction via service rate, leveld capacity planning, material availability, inventory policies and continuous improvement within our supply chain. In this role, you are reporting directly to the VP of Harnessing Operations. You will have the flexibility to be based in any of our Harnessing Operations locations across EMEA. Your tasks

- End-to-End Supply Chain Management in Harnessing Operations EMEA: Oversee supply chain planning, sales and operations planning, procurement and subcontractors, logistics, and warehousing in Harnessing Operations EMEA
- Sales / RFQ support: Provide comprehensive support during the RFQ and serial production phases by optimizing supply chain planning for efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Owner for Harness Business Sales and Operations Planning including customer service
- Coordination and optimization of plant SCM
- Purchasing: Manage the purchasing process in alignment with the SVP of Global Procurement, leveraging purchasing power and supplier partnerships to optimize the supplier base, reduce costs, and enhance material efficiency
- Subcontracting: Oversee production subcontractors and developing strong partnerships and networks to enhance collaboration and performance
- Logistics: Close collaboration with EMEA LAPP logistics team to ensure and optimize logistics
- Sustainability Initiatives: Drive sustainability efforts within the supply chain, focusing on reducing carbon footprint, waste, and improving resource efficiency
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop the supply chain team to ensure a high-performing and motivated workforce
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, ensuring business continuity and resilience
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve supply chain processes using technology and data analytics to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field
- Several years of professional experience in supply chain management in an international company
- Experience in a leadership role; experience leading an international team is an advantage.
In-depth SAP knowledge and knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma - Fluent in English
- Proven experience in end-to-end supply chain management, with a track record of optimizing operations and delivering results
- Proven ability to define a clear vision and roadmap that is challenging but achievable, motivate your team and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Knowledge of sustainability practices and their application within supply chains is a plus
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
