We are recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for a leading logistics company based in Skelmersdale. If you have 12 months HGV Class 1 experience, we can offer Tramping Work with guaranteed shifts, competitive pay rates and flexible start times to suit you.

Ongoing temporary work and permanent roles available

Role Overview:

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for carrying out a mixture of local and distance work to Regional Distribution Centres (RDCs) across the UK using curtainsided trailers.

Hours & Shift Patterns
Tramping Work
Flexible Shift Patterns - work any 5 days from 7.
Start times between 0200 - 1000 - Flexible to suit you.

Pay:
Monday - Friday: £16.81 - £17.93p/h
Saturday: £18.49p/h
Sunday: £19.61p/h
Rates are PAYE and include holiday pay

Job Role:
Driving a HGV Class 1 Vehicle with Curtainsided Trailers
Carrying out general haulage work to RDCs across the UK
Strapping and securing loads (no loading or unloading required)
Completing daily vehicle checks and managing your driving hours

Skills & Experience:
HGV Class 1 Driving Licence, CPC & Digi Card
At least 1 year of HGV Class 1 driving experience
No more than 6 points for minor endorsements
Experience with curtainsided trailers and the ability to check and secure loads
