The role
As HR Advisor at Damen Naval, you provide guidance and support to managers and employees on various HR issues and policies. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our success and shape the future of our organization.
Key accountabilities
As HR Advisor your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting managers in recruitment and development activities to meet current and future business needs.
- Overseeing performance management processes and ensuring optimal tool utilization.
- Identifying and retaining talent within the organization and contributing to succession planning.
- Monitoring HR administration for temporary staff in compliance with legislation and regulations.
- Acting as a case manager for long-term absenteeism cases.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of HR processes and knowledge transfer within the department.
Skills & experience
To excel as HR Advisor at Damen Naval, you should have:
- Master or Bachelor degree in HRM or related field combined with three to five years of relevant hands-on international HR experience, preferably acquired within the offshore or shipbuilding or manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of HR legislation, regulations, and management principles.
- Ability to work in Vlissingen, The Netherlands.
- Excellent command of both Dutch and English, both written and verbal.
- Excellent references antecedents as a pre-employment security screening is standard part of the recruitment procedure.
- Permanent EU citizenship and passport are both required and candidates with NL/EU (work) visa or with both an EU and non-EU nationality and/or passport are not eligible in accordance with the requirements imposed by the military nature of our projects.
