HSE Manager at the Children's Trust

The organisation provides expert rehabilitation, education, therapy, and care at its national specialist centre in Tadworth and to children and their families across the UK via the Brain Injury Community Service. The beautiful 24-acre site in Surrey is located just outside of London, close to the M25, and easily accessible via National Rail from Clapham Junction, Sutton, and Epsom.Your new role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Health & Safety Manager to join the Estates Team at The Children's Trust. The successful candidate will ensure that The Children's Trust achieves its health and safety objectives, including setting the organisational strategy for health and safety. Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as the lead and designated competent person for all health and safety matters.
  • Overseeing the three key work streams: safe care, safe workplace (including occupational health and well-being), and safe retail and fundraising events.
  • Possessing the authority to require the immediate cessation of any unsafe working practices.

  • Exceptional organisational skills and high attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to consult and positively engage with key stakeholders.
