Job Description
IM&T Duty Engineer Agency Reference Number: J83816
Venn Group is currently working with an NHS Trust based in London to recruit a Duty Engineer who will be responsible for providing 24/7 technical support alongside a team of Engineers.
Salary: £41K per annum Location: London
Shift patterns that cover Monday - Sunday
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide initial response, triage and support for the resolution of technical issues including problem identification and resolution
- Provide ongoing monitoring and checking of critical systems to resolve issues before they escalate to the point of impacting service quality
- Investigate and resolve potential complex technical issues
- Manage sensitive data, including user account information
- Analyse, investigate and resolve radio, telephony, voice recording and network related issues in accordance with standard guidelines
- Liaise with external suppliers for hardware maintenance and repair of equipment
The ideal candidate will have:
- Hands on experience of managing multiple incidents and user escalations on a busy service desk
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Active Directory
- Experience troubleshooting hardware faults (PCs, peripherals and Audio Visual technologies)
- Experience of building and deploying equipment and supporting end users
