Interim Finance Audit Manager

Work overview:
Support the Finance Manager to manage of all activities relating to the processing of fee variations.
Priority areas of work to undertake the 1st review of fee variations:
Undertake the 1st review and make recommendations on fee variation proposals submitted by audit suppliers. Liaise with representatives of audit suppliers to query and clarify aspects of their fee variations submissions. Liaise with audited bodies to discuss audit suppliers' fee variations submissions. Maintain detailed and accurate records to support fee variation processing. Work with colleagues to respond to fee-related queries from audited bodies and firms.
All work must be carried out in accordance with relevant legislation, regulations and internal policies and procedures, for example, the Appointing Person regulations, and Data Protection regulations.
Essential skills required:
A high level of attention to detail Good analytical skills Able to work effectively on own initiative and know when to seek advice. Excellent organisational skills with thoroughness and able to produce accurate work to tight deadlines Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, willing to constructively challenge and voice your own opinion in internal and external discussions. Strong team-working skills, with the ability to work co-operatively and flexibly Proven experience of coordinating multiple activities and shifting demands, with the ability to prioritise and simplify complexity to support effective delivery. Ability to think laterally, rapidly assimilate and make sense of new information, have an enquiring mind and be resourceful. Strong IT skills (including Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams)
Other useful skills:A good understanding of developments in public audit and the wider auditing profession.
