About Our Client
The organisation is a prominent entity in the Not For Profit sector.
Job Description
- Overseeing the financial management and budgeting of the organisation.
- Financial Controller responsibilities.
- Ensuring financial compliance and risk management.
- Liaising with stakeholders and other departments to ensure financial transparency.
- Preparing financial reports and statements for board meetings.
- Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures.
- Providing financial analysis and forecasting to guide decision-making.
- Mentoring and developing team members - you will have 3 direct reports.
- Supporting with onboarding a new external auditor.
The Successful Applicant
A successful applicant will:
- Be a Qualified Accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA).
- Have proven leadership skills with experience in managing and uplifting a finance team.
- Be able to bring on a new external auditor.
- Have strong technical abilities.
- Possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Have extensive charity experience at the Head of Finance level.
