About Our Client

The organisation is a prominent entity in the Not For Profit sector.

Job Description

  • Overseeing the financial management and budgeting of the organisation.
  • Financial Controller responsibilities.
  • Ensuring financial compliance and risk management.
  • Liaising with stakeholders and other departments to ensure financial transparency.
  • Preparing financial reports and statements for board meetings.
  • Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures.
  • Providing financial analysis and forecasting to guide decision-making.
  • Mentoring and developing team members - you will have 3 direct reports.
  • Supporting with onboarding a new external auditor.

The Successful Applicant

A successful applicant will:

  • Be a Qualified Accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA).
  • Have proven leadership skills with experience in managing and uplifting a finance team.
  • Be able to bring on a new external auditor.
  • Have strong technical abilities.
  • Possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Have extensive charity experience at the Head of Finance level.
